Staro Katunište sits on Katun Asanovića, a high mountain pasture 8 km from the Trešnjevik pass. Around it there is only meadow, forest and the peaks on the horizon.
The Asanović family runs it the way katuns have always worked: simple wooden cottages, food cooked from traditional recipes and evenings by the fire.
